Empowering Women Farmers Program

  • Mission Alignment: TVA’s mission focuses on “unleashing the hidden resources and potential for a better world.” This program aligns with the mission by empowering women as small-scale farmers and unlocking their potential.
  • Program Description: TVA organizes and implements a program dedicated to empowering women small-scale farmers. Through this program, TVA identifies, organizes, and provides essential training to women farmers, helping them form cooperatives. The training covers modern farming techniques, cooperative management, marketing, financial literacy, and record-keeping. This program creates a platform for women to enhance their agricultural productivity, access resources, and improve their economic status.
  • Outcomes: As a result of this program, women farmers experience increased agricultural yields, economic empowerment, and strengthened communities. The cooperative model promotes shared opportunities and wealth among these farmers.

Quality Education Scholarship and Grant Program
